The Master’s Program in Public Policy (MPP) is going to organize the seminar on “The use of Bibliometrics in Science policy: International Experiences and Implications for Vietnam”. The seminar will give audience an opportunity to learn more about the Bibliometrics as well as the Utility of bibliometric analysis applied in Science Policy. The seminar will explore international experience in using Bibliometrics from which it will withdraw implications for Vietnam.

About the speaker:

Dr. Pham Hung Hiep | Director, Center for Research and Practice in Education, Phu Xuan University (Hanoi Office)

Dr. Hiep is an education researcher and consultant. He got his PhD in International Business Administration at Chinese Culture University, Taiwan (ROC) in 2017. In 2013, he was Endeavour Research Fellow, conducting research at Center of Studies in Higher Education, The University of Melbourne. His topics of research include international education, education management, scientometrics. Apart from academic activities, he also usually involve in professional and practical exercises in order to promote the development of tertiary education such as consultant (for the World Bank, ADB, SEAMEO-RIHED), reporter (for University World News, UK), and columnist (for Vietnamese media).
